Finish Your Unfinished Business
"The fewer unresolved items in your life, the more confident you will feel." -Thomas Leonard
Unfinished business comes in a million shapes and sizes. It can be as mundane as not having backed up your computer in a while, as nagging as an unpaid debt or as emotionally daunting as making amends to a person whom you have hurt in someway. Sooner or later unfinished business is likely to come back to bite you.
Regret, guilt, remorse, shame, denial, fear, sadness and the nagging feeling that you may not really be good enough, are all possible symptoms of unfinished business. When unresolved, what you did, did not do, believe you should have done, did poorly or wrong, in the past puts a subtle drag on your energy and well-being. Some part of you is waiting for the proverbial other shoe to drop.
Now is the time, to complete unfinished business. With clear intention, do what you can in the present moment to put things right and letting go of the rest.
In each moment we are always doing our best, even when we know we are not. It is OK to be human. Whatever has happened in the past, it is time to accept responsibility, not blame, forgive your-self/others and take positive steps to eliminate the pattern of incompletion in the future.
Make a list of 50 things that are not complete in your life and one by one work your way down the list until it is zero. Dont know what to put on your list? Just click on The Clean Sweep Program.

and print the pages. The 100 items in the program will give you an excellent list of common areas to work on and may trigger other things you want to address.
One of the toughest ones to handle is to go back and communicate to those you have in someway hurt. It could even be the failure to appreciate what someone has done for you or to express your love. Whatever it is, communicate it, in person or in writing. The persons response is not important. What is important, is getting in alignment with your highest goals and intentions in life and clearing the decks, so you can move forward with grace and ease.
Take a look at your pattern of incompletions and make a specific list of procedures you will put in place or changes your will make to stop future incompletions from occurring. Start doing complete work in everything you do and say, so that nothing will come back to bit you for at least five years.
The greatest thing about cleaning up your unfinished business is the automatic boost in energy, confidence, sense of integrity and well being that you will experience.
