What clients say about Joan:
I have worked with other executive coaches in my career but
I must say that Joan Bolmer is truly exceptional. She has this uncanny
ability to zone in on who I am and just what I need to achieve my
desired goals. She's frank. She's honest. She cares. My relationship
with Joan is one of the best experiences I have had in my corporate
life!

| Your
Ideal Job
We are blessed in America that there is so much
opportunity to seek and find work that gives us fulfillment, purpose
and joy. The unfortunate part is that so many people just get a
job to pay the bills without considering what they really want and
the possibility that they could actually have it.
It may be possible to find your ideal job in the company where you
currently work if you know how to look for it. Several times I have
created the job I wanted within the corporation where I worked by
just starting to do it and demonstrating the need and benefits.
Maybe you would like a different industry or style of management
structure. If so consider doing some informational interviews with
people in positions you think you might like.
Do the following exercise on a yellow pad to find out what really
turns you on and off.

Your ideal job may require some retooling of your
skills or expanding your experience in specific areas. Ask about
classes and training available at your work place. Look into specialty
training programs, community college or university courses. Ask
your boss or mentor how you could get more experience in particular
areas.

Ask for what you want and find out what it will take for you to
qualify for that job. Then, put on your power shoes and start moving
toward your heart’s desire.
